We offer a wide range of activities for members and non-members. Membership is currently £25. Club Nights are £5 for non members, all other activities have a preminum of £10 for non members. We open our doors to everyone and you are welcome to attend all the workshops and meetings we provide. You don't have to live in Penrith to be a member. Please click the

PAC Club Nights
At Club Nights we host a variety of events including demonstrations by professional artists, art related talks and evenings where you can try out a variety of techniques and subjects in a friendly and helpful environment. PAC Workshops
Full day workshops are available to members (average cost £38 per workshop). The workshops are usually held in local village halls. PAC Life in Eden
Life drawing and painting is held at Tirril and Sockbridge Village Hall, with full days sessions, 10:00 to 15:00. Organised in 2 tranches October to December and January to May.
Termly payments are required to secure a place in the group and to enable running well planned sessions with very experienced models. Poses are often set by volunteers within the group and this proves to be very rewarding.

PAC Portrait Group
The portrait group meets monthly on a Thursday at Tirril Village Hall, 7-9pm from January - until June.

PAC Outdoor Painting
During the summer months weekly outdoor painting/ sketching evenings are arranged at various locations of interest. There are many to choose from in this lovely area.

Plein air painting – Saturday mornings - ‘Taking a line for a walk to a finished landscape’
We will meet on the first Saturday of each month and paint from 1000 to 1230 using whatever medium you choose. Locations will change monthly, ranging from Mungrisedale to the Solway Firth.
Initially sessions will run from November 2024 to June 2025 This is one of the new sessions that we are introducing at weekends, it is 2 1/2-hours of Plein air Painting with mentoring and guidance from established artist and PAC member Jamie Oldham. Over recent years the exhibition has been held in the Penrith Parish Rooms, adjacent to St Andrews Church. The exhibition is manned by members and in recent years has attracted over 800 visitors
Exhibition rules and application forms are issued in June /July - so why not get your works up-to-date and framers sorted?
