Caroline Davies
Living in the Eden Valley Caroline takes inspiration from the surrounding countryside. Sketching regularly all year round, cycling (electrically assisted 👍) to extend places to visit. Caroline's other art activities include a daily visual diary and life painting sessions, sadly missed this past year. Caroline's preferred media are charcoal, neocolor for sketching and oil paint and oil pastels for painting.
The approach Caroline has to art is irreverent, drawings and paintings are here for immediate enjoyment, for rotation, for recycling and certainly not to be preserved in aspic. As artists Caroline states 'we must attract attention in lives where multitudes of images persistently impinge on us daily'. “If you are not attracting attention you are talking to yourself” |
I recently interviewed Caroline and here it is.
