Challenge 2019

 In 2019 Margaret created three tables of 'everyday' still life.
This years winner was Lynne Everett (2018's third place) with 'Daffodil, Fruit and Basket'

 Here is Margaret Jones's still life of 'The Mandolin' finished at home, and also the third table created.

Challenge 2018

Thank you to the Rheged Centre for the voucher donations in 2018. Thanks to Sarah Reid, Martin Reid and Haydn Morris who judged the competition. Sylvia Thompson was our first winner.
The painting depicted 'The Basket of Apples' by Paul Cezanne

Second place was Maria Burton with Pieter Claesz's,
'A Still Life with Skull and a Writing Quill'.

Third place was Lynne Everett with
Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers'

The candle holder depicted in the recreation was created by Mary Chapplehow

The fourth table was Georgia O'Keffe's 'Ram's head, White Hollyhock and Little Hills'. The background to the still life was created by Linda Stanton depicting Blencathra
