PAC Newsletter August 2024
Here is our Newsletter for August 2024
It must be said that the highlight of the last quarter has been the PAC Annual Exhibition.
There were more than 800 visitors with many complimentary comments on the variety and quality of the art work and clarity of the display. Sales were encouraging with 29 framed pieces and 10 unframed sold.
The Exhibition has made a healthy profit.
Many thanks to Helen Grainger Barnes and her team of helpers, including club members in putting everything together. Thanks to all the stewards and cashiers.

There were new and old names in the Exhibition, adding to the variety of works displayed, keeping things fresh and exciting. We should never underestimate the talents that exists within the Club. We also hope to have attracted new members from some very interested visitors.
The vote for the favourite painting went to Mat Charmwood, for the 2nd year running, for the piece Forest Glow using spray paint and acrylic. Mat will retain the Rosebowl for 2024/2025.
I wonder if that is a medium that others might want to try?
